ehlers-danos syndrome
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is an inherited connective tissue disorder resulting in excessive joint laxity, tissue fragility and multiple manifestations. It mainly affects women, often from an early age, with variable symptoms such as frequent subluxations, moderate skin disorders and chronic pain. Digestive and cardiac problems, as well as persistent fatigue, are also commonly associated.
Our specialised programme
We offer an intensive three-week outpatient spa treatment specially designed for patients suffering from hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. This individual and group treatment incorporates physiotherapy, occupational therapy and activities in the thermal water to improve mobility, reduce pain and help you regain lasting comfort. Our interdisciplinary team, led by Dr Michael Norberg, will provide you with a personalised programme, practical advice for everyday life and ongoing support throughout your stay.
